New Book Release

The 4th book is now out in the "Morganville Vampire Series" called "Feast of Fools". This is a cute young adult series by Rachel Caine. It's about a young girl starting college in Morganville and soon realizing that the town is overrun with vampires. Very stylish and witty!
1st book "Glass Houses", 2nd book "The Dead Girls Dance", 3rd book "Midnight Alley".

The Bennett's First Trip to Disneyland

We finally took our first family trip to Disneyland the first part of May this year. The kids have been waiting for so long to go and it was way fun! The kids had great time even though the drive was way too long with four kids complaining "are we there yet?", and it was not as warm as we'd hoped. But anytime you get to see Mickey Mouse is worth it right! Next time we will definitley FLY!

We visited the Ocean, Disneyland, and Sea World. It was a wirlwind vacation but a real blast.

New book releases

This last week two of my very favorite authors released new books.
Stephanie Meyer, author of the Twilight Series has released a new novel "The Host". What a brilliant book! I love Stephanie because she knows that love is the most important part of a story. Sappy, I know! I was eagerly awaiting the release of this book and was not disappointed. It will make you think well beyond turning the last page. Way to go Stephanie! I can't wait for the release of her fourth book in the Twilight series "Breaking Dawn" which releases in September. They are also releasing the movie "Twilight" December 12, 2008. Cant wait!
The other book that was released was " From Dead to Worse" by Charlaine Harris. This is the 8Th book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. This is a really good series and a great book. You will fall in love with the characters. They are also making this series into an HBO original series in the fall of 2008 called "True Bloods". I hope it pans out.
I will let you know about any other new releases that I think are worth the read!
